![]() ![]() The game features 4 slots next to your characters picture - melee, ranged, spell 1, spell 2. You can switch weapons during the middle of the fight as well. You can read the description of the great new gladius you picked up while your character is beating down some Krug. The inventory can be manipulated at any point in the game without pausing the action. Simply set your character's behavior levels, and they'll fight with nearly no input from you. You can do anything and everything with just a click or two of the button. What is really amazing, though, is the intuitive level of the interface. One needs to actually be walking around during the game to understand how marvelous the game really looks. The screenshots of this game do not do it justice at all. To facilitate movement on a grand scale, GPG has included the H.U.B., you simply step on a platform and you're launched to another area in the game (usually another town). I've logged 25 hours or so already in the first multiplayer world (yes, this is the easy one), and I think I'm about 20 percent of the way through. The multiplayer game seems even more astounding. The scenery is breath-taking, and the story (what I've seen so far) is cohesive, intriguing, and generally doesn't feel at all far-fetched. ![]() While it is true that the game is more action-oriented than Baldur's Gate was, the story is exponentially more involved that that game that most people compare Dungeon Siege to, Diablo2. ![]() " Let me first talk about the single player game.
